TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: Requirements Board Certification in diagnostic Radiology Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain Demonstrated Experience interpreting multiple imaging modalities Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, hospital-based environment ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Incumbent must demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and technical practice relevant to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Incumbent must demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Supervises: None. May provide guidance and oversight to radiography students and new employees when participating in training. May provide input with respect to technical competence, but has no responsibility for personnel actions or decisions. Reports To: Medical Director, Radiology
