Overview Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with rotating weekends Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Radiology Aide II transports patients to and from the department, adhering hospital protocols for transport and patient safety. Assists Radiology Technologists during the performance of imaging procedures. Directly assists Radiologists and Anesthesiologists with procedures to include, but not limited to, supply management and inventory control. Maintains modality statistics. Acts as liaison between anesthesiologists, radiologist, and technologists; coordinates patient schedules, patient access and workflow. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required: 1+ year of medical /clinical experience. Preferred: 3+ years of previous experience as a Radiology Aide in hospital setting. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Degree, GED, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Current BLS certification from American Heart Association. Pay Scale I
