Job Description
Premiere Healthcare Staffing, a leading healthcare staffing agency based in Cary, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist II to support our hospital, clinic, and long‑term care facility partners. As a Radiology Technologist II, you will provide high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging while representing Premiere’s service-oriented, collaborative culture focused on integrity, responsiveness, and excellent patient care. In this role, you will perform and coordinate a full range of routine and urgent diagnostic X-ray examinations in an acute or outpatient clinical setting. You will verify patient identity, review exam orders, obtain relevant clinical histories, and clearly explain procedures to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and supported. Using your advanced technical skills, you will position patients accurately, apply appropriate shielding, and operate digital radiography equipment, imaging software, and PACS to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support timely clinical decisions. The Radiology Technologist II serves as a reliable, independent technologist who can manage a busy workload, including add-on and STAT exams, while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compassion. You will assess image quality, repeat views when clinically and safely indicated, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team. You will follow radiation safety and ALARA principles to minimize exposure, adhere to infection prevention protocols, and help maintain a safe, compliant imaging environment. As part of Premiere Healthcare Staffing’s trusted team, you will document procedures and patient information clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record, assist with contrast studies within scope, and perform basic daily quality control checks on imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns. You may also participate in orienting and mentoring Radiology Technologist I staff or new hires at client sites, modeling professional conduct, strong communication, and dependable performance. This is a full-time, on-site clinical role working within one or more client healthcare facilities. You will thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, adapting to different clinical workflows while upholding consistent standards of patient care, professionalism, and confidentiality. Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k), and the opportunity to build lasting relationships, grow your skills, and have a direct, positive impact on patients and care teams across multiple settings.
