Job Description
Radiology Concierge The Guest Services Attendant serves as a front-line ambassador within the hospital, delivering exceptional customer service while supporting patient safety, communication, and operational flow. This role ensures a welcoming and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff, while also supporting administrative and communication functions including inbound call handling, coordination with radiology teams, and monitoring operational workflows. Guest Services & Patient Support Greet all patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly, professional demeanor Provide wayfinding assistance and answer general inquiries Assist with hospital registration processes as needed Support patient needs including wheelchair assistance and coordination with nursing staff Safety, Compliance & Access Control Ensure compliance with hospital health protocols, including face coverings when required Screen individuals for COVID-19, flu symptoms, or other health concerns as applicable Enforce visitor policies and location-specific access restrictions Maintain awareness of and adhere to HIPAA and EMTALA regulations Communication & Coordination Handle inbound calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments Handle all communications with patient confidentiality Facilitate communication between radiologists, medical staff, and technologists Operate paging systems and support internal communication workflows Monitor radiology or departmental worklists and escalate issues as needed Report IT or system-related issues impacting radiology or operational flow Operations & Environment Maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized workspace, including front desk areas and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs) Support administrative tasks and assist hospital leadership as needed Ensure a professional and organized front desk environment at all times Attendance and Professionalism Maintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies, and uphold PMC standards for safe and efficient parking operations. Additional Responsibilities Support evolving business needs by completing other tasks as assigned, attending required meetings and training, and maintaining schedule flexibility. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a hospitality-focused mindset Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in high-pressure environments Strong attention to detail and ability to follow healthcare protocols Ability to multitask and manage both in-person and phone-based interactions Basic understanding of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, EMTALA preferred) Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous customer service, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred Experience handling phone systems or call coordination is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Certificates and Licenses: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this role, along with maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period. Candidates must also pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications are necessary for this position. Work Environment The work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor, requiring collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Associates may frequently use computers, communicate via phone, and perform duties in or around corporate office settings. Physical Demands Requirements may include extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary. Specific vision abilitiesclose, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustmentsmay be required to ensure on-site awareness and safety. Cell Phone Use Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication, including coordination with team members, managers, and clients, as well as accessing work applications. Reimbursement for work-related phone usage will follow company policy.
