Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Equine Ranch Hand to join our team on a breeding ranch that cares for 35horses, including mares, foals, and yearlings.This position is ideal for someone experienced with horses who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed facility.This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in the daily health and care of our horses.Daily Responsibilities Cleaning stalls and maintaining pastures twice daily Feeding horses twice daily and ensuring constant access to fresh water Monitoring horses for general health and well-being Handling mares, foals, and yearlings safely and confidently Assisting with occasional grooming and bathing Supporting on-site veterinarian during exams and routine procedures Operating ranch equipment, including tractors (experience preferred) Performing general ranch maintenance Landscaping duties approximately once per month Qualifications Prior horse handling experience required (breeding farm experience preferred) Comfortable working with mares, foals, and young horses Ability to safely operate a tractor and basic ranch equipment (or willingness to learn) Physically able to lift 50lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Strong attention to detail and commitment to horse safety What We're Looking For A team player with a strong work ethic Someone calm, confident, and patient around horses An individual who takes initiative and works efficiently without constant supervision Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:From $650.00 per week Expected hours:54 per week Work Location:In person.
