Ration Analyst

SUMMARY Agri-King is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ration Analyst.A Ration Analyst works alongside our consultants, clients, feed mills and nutritionists to formulate diets that will be utilized by our clients for their dairy and beef operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Organize and ready daily work. Distribute reports and printouts to appropriate personnel. Fulfill diet change requests based on client inventory and availability of feeds. Verify correctness of diets/rations before sending them to clients and sales personnel for implementation.QUALIFICATIONS A dairy cattle/farm background is required! A good attitude and an understanding of basic computer use is required, everything else is covered in extensive training. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must as well as excellent organizational and math skills. Effectively communicate with associates and clients both in person and over the telephone. Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with the team. Capable of being flexible and multitask job duties.WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in a business casual environment.
