Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors, progress, and treatment outcomes to ensure effective treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other essential self-care skills. Support clients during teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies to promote communication, social skills, and behavioral management. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions across settings. Participate in ongoing training related to medical terminology, medical records management, and behavior management techniques. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies within a special education framework. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience handling sensitive medical documentation securely. Compassionate patient care approach combined with effective behavior management skills. Familiarity with medical terminology, care plans, and behavioral health concepts relevant to therapeutic settings.
