Shift: 8:45 AM-4:15 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch) Paid Hours: 7 hours/day (7.5-hour shift) One in-person interview Approximately 15 minutes Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with a Grade 1 student who is academically strong, communicative, and benefits from consistent behavioral support. The student occasionally requires redirection and resilience coaching. While they do not typically elope far, they may move quickly down hallways when frustrated. In this role, you will provide both academic and behavioral support, implement individualized programming developed by the student's case manager, and assist with daily needs such as feeding, toileting, positioning, and monitoring health-related concerns as appropriate. Key Responsibilities Redirect and maintain student attention to classroom tasks and instructions Provide repetition, clarification, and reinforcement of teacher directions Facilitate guided play and appropriate peer interactions Offer consistent praise for on-task behavior and positive social engagement Reinforce behavioral expectations and support emotional regulation Model language and communication skills to promote problem-solving and peer interaction Collect accurate behavioral and academic data as directed by the case manager Support implementation of individualized education and behavior plans Education, Experience & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Preferred experience in: Autistic Support S
