Precision Ag Specialist RCIS provides insurance and superior services through leading agents to protect America’s farmers and ranchers. It’s been an innovator in crop insurance since the crop insurance business was privatized by the federal government in 1980. Today it’s one of the nation’s largest crop insurance providers, offering risk management protection in all 50 states through a national network of about 4,000 professionally trained and licensed agents. We are currently looking for a Precision Ag Specialist . Estimated travel is up to 70%. This is a work from home role with a company car provided. The candidate must live in one of the following states: OH, MN, SD, ND, IN, KY or IA. As an Precision Ag Specialist you will work at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and crop insurance. This role spans multiple technologies, including farm management systems, GIS platforms, and process systems. This role plays a key part in supporting RCIS’s Precision Ag strategy. As a Precision Ag Specialist at RCIS, you’ll work closely with internal team members and external customers to educate and support the use of precision agriculture technologies for crop insurance reporting and servicing. This is a field‑based position responsible for helping drive adoption of RCIS Digital Ag tools across a designated region. This role is in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment, assisting agents with farm management systems, supporting system workflows, and serving as a trusted technical resource for both agents and growers. In this role you will: Have a deep understanding of Precision farming technologies Become a SME expert in technology solutions Assist in the organization area of Precision Ag products Serve as internal and external technical specialist for precision ag Help implement the adoption of technology Attend OEM Trainings Collaborate with Field claims and Sales for support of sales activities Utilize CRM for documentation of customer interactions Provide both customer and internal trainings both in-person and virtually Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Agricultural or Engineering and 8 or more years of experience in the Digital Agriculture area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Digital Agriculture area AND Project Management experience Experience with Precision Ag tools Experience within the Agricultural industry Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Precision Ag equipment Precision Ag systems, John Deere Operations Center, Climate Field View, Ag Leader Technologies Knowledge of GIS Systems Consulting experience Lead meetings Experience with process improvement Knowledge of financial services industry In‑depth knowledge of insurance business processes and processing Strong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed Salary range for this position is $87,000.00 - $110,000.00, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
