Readiness Manager One (1) Position Available | Shaw AFB, SC Location: Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter County, SC 29152 Clearance: Secret (Top Secret Eligible / SCI Eligible) Type: Full-Time | On-Site | No Telework ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Blue Sky is seeking a highly qualified Readiness Manager to support a critical U.S. Air Force mission at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. This role supports 24/7/365 global operations for one of the nation's most advanced remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) programs. As a Blue Sky employee, you will work alongside military and government professionals in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment that directly contributes to national security. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare and process personnel for deployments, re-deployments, exercises, and other locations per U.S. Government, DoD, Air Force, and COCOM guidance • Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training using the Automated Civil Engineering System (ACES) and Security Forces Management Information System (SFMIS) • Identify, maintain, and distribute individual deployment equipment per current host base and AFI guidance; prepare and submit equipment procurement requirements to wing leadership • Serve as the wing subject matter expert for wing and unit-level readiness reporting; manage deployment reporting in the Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) and DCAPES, including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates • Monitor Host Wing Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) for deployment taskers • Use LOGMOD and Excel to track pre/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements; provide timely status reports on individual, unit, group, and wing readiness • Interface with CATM and mobility support agencies to schedule and accomplish pre-deployment ancillary training events • Interface with the Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaison officers, and resource advisors to arrange/de-conflict deployment travel; utilize the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG) • Provide weekly leadership updates on duty status and location of all deployed personnel • Build and maintain individual mobility folders for all deployable wing members; generate and verify ISOPREP data • Create monthly reports outlining mobility status and preparation levels vs. total requirements for all tasked personnel • Ensure units maintain sufficient Unit Commander (UC) and Unit Administrator (UA) roles so monthly readiness assessments are completed on time (1st–15th of each month) • Assist in preparing the wing and subordinate units for all inspections and self-assessments per AFI 90-201 • Coordinate with ACC FAM to update DOC statements, Unit Type Codes, Mission Essential Tasks, Named Operations, and Top Priority Plans • Prepare and brief monthly readiness briefings to wing leadership; include Resource and Capability Readiness Assessments MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working as a Group-level (or higher) Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) • Demonstrated experience interfacing with higher headquarters for readiness reporting • Familiarity with all Air Force readiness reporting software: ART (Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool), DRRS (Defense Readiness Reporting System), and AF-IT , • Experience with DCAPES and LOGMOD mobility tracking tools • Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret Eligible, SCI Eligible, NATO, and ACCM required • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage competing deployment requirements across multiple units simultaneously • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for leadership SECURITY REQUIREMENTS • Secret (Top Secret Eligible / SCI Eligible) security clearance required • No negative administrative, judicial, non-judicial, or criminal action/record in previous civilian or military employment for the past five (5) years • No history of being terminated from civilian employment, denied reenlistment, or separated from the military under other than honorable conditions • Must be a U.S. Citizen; Common Access Card (CAC) required • Must successfully complete Shaw AFB background check prior to installation access WORK SCHEDULE • Normal duty hours: 0730–1630, Monday through Friday • Flexible scheduling may be required to meet mission needs (up to 2-hour adjustment) • All federal holidays observed, plus ACC Goal Days • No telework authorized — on-site presence required
