Job Description: We are excited to announce a new accountant opening that will support every aspect of our expanding business operations. We seek an experienced accounting and finance professional who is comfortable handling diverse tasks. Responsibilities include working with accounting software, Microsoft Office, Excel, and other tools for organizing and accessing data; managing partnership allocations; amortizing multiple loans; and scheduling payments with various parties. All financial records must comply with established tax reporting standards. Experience in real estate is a valuable asset. Responsibilities: · Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure the precise maintenance of financial records, encompassing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, legal billings, and multi-year file management. Vendor Invoice Management: Review vendor invoices for accuracy and complete documentation prior to payment processing. Expense Oversight: Audit and process employee credit card transactions and petty cash expenditures efficiently. Payment Processing: Issue checks promptly to prevent late payments, coordinating schedules with your supervisor and managing check supplies effectively. Vendor Relations: Facilitate new vendor setups and maintain current vendor W-9 forms. Association Control: Update and manage association control spreadsheets regularly. Problem-Solving: Detect discrepancies and recommend appropriate resolution strategies. Team Collaboration: Support colleagues and supervisors to promote a collaborative work environment. Special Projects: Assist with various activities and special projects as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience Demonstrated expertise in accounting, including payroll, AR, AP, use of accounting software, and reconciliations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Experience in real estate or property management is advantageous Benefits: Competitive salary Flexible schedule Convenient Mountain View location The knowledge and skills you bring to our organization are highly valued and will contribute meaningfully to our continued success. Location: This position is based on-site at the Mountain View office. Salary Range: $80,000 per year or $38 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Compensation may be adjusted according to the candidate’s qualifications and performance demonstrated. Exceptional abilities may result in higher pay. Experience Level: Applicants should have at least four years of intermediate-level experience in accounting and finance. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fluent in English and possess strong communication abilities; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
