Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments and deliveries. Every day you will verify contents against purchase orders, identify and report discrepancies or damages, and organize received goods for proper distribution or storage. To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, efficient organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth operations. Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributor Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around stockroom Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies and Minimum of Two (2) years Supply Chain related experience, upon hire or High School GED General Studies and Minimum of Two (2) years Supply Chain related experience, upon hire None, upon hire Where You'll Work Welcome to Saint Joseph Hospital, a 433-bed hospital founded in 1877 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth as the first hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
