Position Title:Receptionist FLSA Designation:Part-Time One Day a week (Every Friday or Wednesday); 8:00 am - 4:30pm Department:Administration Reports to:Human Resources Manager Date Updated:February 17th, 2026 Wage Range:$20 - $23 per hour JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team.The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and efficient front office experience.This role involves a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and supporting various departments within the organization.Minimum Requirements, Credentials, and Experience High School Diploma Required Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, preferred Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role Business telephone and email etiquette Excellent grammar, punctuation, written and verbal communication skills.Basic Math Skills Familiar with Google and Microsoft Suites and other software applications Excellent organizational skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Consistency and punctuality are required for this position Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Essential Job Functions Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.Assist with Enrichment registration.Monitor and manage daily attendance records.Greet and assist visitors, ensuring adherence to sign-in procedures and maintaining building security.Oversee office supplies inventory, including ordering and organizing materials.Coordinate and distribute mass communications to staff and parents.Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.Maintain an accurate digital check log.Support the Advancement team by tracking in-kind donations, managing forms, and updating parent contact information.Manage Capstone and Enrichment participant/student paperwork and administrative support.Perform various clerical duties as needed.Ensure the front office area is tidy and inviting, including updating digital signage and general cleaning.Provide initial support for building visitors and manage visitor sign-in procedures.Maintain and organized the nurse's station, including ordering necessary supplies.Assist in organizing and supporting school-wide events during and after regular school hours.Work together and communicate with the Intake and Operations Coordinator and welcome clinic clients.Manage Live calendar events for the organization.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule:8 hour shift Day shift Education:High school or equivalent (Required) Experience:Customer service:1 year (Required) Administrative:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
