Woodbury Heighs Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Recreation Assistant to add to its Recreation Department Qualified Candidates will have strong creative and interpersonal skills. The Recreation assistant conducts a variety of group recreation programs based on resident’s abilities and preferences to encourage and promote resident participation. We promote a warm, nurturing environment, which allows each resident to maintain his or her individuality. Successful Candidates must be companionate, creative, energetic, and enthusiastic with the desire to enhance the quality of life of residents. Qualifications: Team player must be willing and able to lead and participate in onsite recreation such as cooking, sports, dramatics, nature study, social recreation, games, and arts and crafts per residents' needs. Pleasant, respectful, personality with proven ability to interact with residents and all levels of Management. Understands care sufficiently to identify and communicate resident changes, problems, or needs.
