SUMMARY As the Recreation Centers Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting guests, welcoming them to the facility, and assisting whenever possible.You need to be flexible and accommodating, being knowledgeable about the Centers, community, and the surrounding area.Providing excellent customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, residents, and members of the general public.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLOWING:Other duties may be assigned. Ensure prompt and courteous treatment of Residents and Guests. Review daily calendars to ensure that there have been no changes and the set-up is complete and, all things are provided as requested. Assist with residents' questions and concerns regarding the facilities and WVA grounds. Ensure policy and regulations are adhered to. Make photo IDs as indicated by Administration Assist Recreation Centers Manager with a variety of clerical duties.(I.e., bulletin boards, Mailings, flyers and events). Keep files organized with forms well stocked. Collect and record all monies collected for ticket sales, copies, faxes, signs, baby furniture, wheelchairs, Guest passes and Photo ID's. Maintain an orderly office and lobby area. Tour facilities daily for safety and cleanliness. Maintain Staff Kitchen Create floor plans for all WVA BOD/Committee Meetings and any monthly Club Board meetings Assist with all room rental inquires Assist with the Employee Monthly Work Schedule Assist on the calendar for all Clubs, Events, Meetings Assist Recreation Centers Manager with all Club Annual Club Documents Bingo - contact volunteers, early setup to work with volunteers to have room ready to assist Recreation Centers Manager for the evening Coordinate volunteers for various events Organize the Annual Arts & Crafts Show Organize the Annual Garage Sale Organize the Annual Car Show Work with all Sub-Association Property Managers to schedule their monthly and annual BOD meetings.Also create their floor plans SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Pay:$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
