Recreation Pool Attendant

Job Title:Beach Club Pool Attendant Reports to:Amy Smith Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, rated as the #1 resort in South Carolina, has a fantastic opportunity for a Recreation & Events Intern to join our team.We offer FREE Parking, FREE associate shift meals and other benefits in an upscale Resort setting.The prime candidate will take pride in their work and demonstrate high levels of integrity.Start Date:Spring Weekends in March then daily in April Pay:Hourly Rate:DOE Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina is looking for upbeat, outgoing candidates to welcome guests with a warm smile and help monitor the gate entry.This position will be responsible the following:Maintain neat and clean pool area and water at all times and perform everyday cleanliness of the pool.Cross selling resort outlets, and become familiar with activities and events on and off property.Ensure neat and clean chairs, pool deck and grounds Develop and maintain professional relationships with hotel guests, marina tenants, club members to ensure compliance to all safety programs and policies of organization.Organize and participate in all training classes and install and break down pool deck on everyday basis.Manage and greet all guests pleasantly and ensure efficient supply of fresh towels to all residents and guests.Coordinate with servers and provide optimal guest amenities and maintain clean glasses.Provide optimal level of services to all guests and members and ensure compliance to facility policy.Monitor inventory of all pool tools and maintain adequacy in same and manage drop and pick up of towels from laundry.Qualifications:-Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift -Must have an eye for detail -Must be able to work nights and weekends -Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check APPLICANTS SHOULD APPLY ONLINE Through Indeed INCENTIVES:Staff Meal Hospitality Experience Gain Experience working with a 25 year recreation professional Knowledge of planning, facilitating and implementing fast pace events Free Parking Pay:$16.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
