Recruiter – Home Care Agency (San Diego, CA) Position Type: Full-Time Location: San Diego, CA- in person Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour About Us A Caring Touch Home Care is a licensed and growing home care agency proudly serving the San Diego community. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team and help us attract, hire, and retain top caregiver talent to support our clients and uphold our high standards of care. Position Overview The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding caregivers, home care aides, and support staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of caregiver qualifications and compliance requirements, and the ability to build positive relationships with applicants and staff. The ideal candidate is a responsible self-starter who works well independently, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers to support client needs across San Diego County. Training will take place at our Headquarters located in Mission Gorge, San Diego. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Sourcing Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract caregivers, home care aides, and support staff Post job openings on Indeed, MyCNA, job boards, referrals, and community resources Attend job fairs, networking events, schools, and community outreach opportunities to build recruitment pipelines Build relationships with schools, training programs, and referral sources for caregiver recruitment Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the hiring process Screening & Interviewing Review applications and conduct phone screenings Schedule and conduct structured in-person and virtual interviews Assess candidate qualifications, professionalism, reliability, and cultural fit Verify work history, references, and credentials in compliance with company standards Compliance & Onboarding Ensure all candidates meet state and agency requirements including: HCA Registry TB Clearance Background Checks / Live Scan Identification Documentation Driver’s License & Insurance (if applicable) Coordinate with the Compliance Department to complete caregiver files before placement Assist with caregiver onboarding, orientations, and training sessions Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records Ensure employee files remain audit-ready at all times Collaboration & Staffing Support Work closely with Scheduling, Compliance, Payroll, and Operations teams Help anticipate staffing needs and maintain a strong caregiver pipeline Provide updates on recruitment progress, open positions, and hiring metrics Support caregiver retention initiatives through strong communication and engagement QualificationsRequired 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, healthcare, home care, or senior services experience preferred Strong understanding of caregiver hiring requirements and California compliance standards Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and job posting platforms Bilingual English/Spanish Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation Preferred Experience recruiting caregivers or healthcare professionals Familiarity with CDSS, DSS, DHCS, and California HCA Registry requirements Experience working in home care or healthcare staffing Knowledge of San Diego County caregiver workforce and demographics Key Competencies People-Oriented and compassionate Detail-oriented and organized Proactive and results-driven Adaptable in fast-paced environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Professional and team-oriented mindset Working ConditionsWork Environment Primarily office-based in our Mission Gorge office in San Diego Occasional travel throughout San Diego County for job fairs, outreach events, and recru
