Responsibilities Millennium Corporation is hiring a Red Team Mission Lead to work 100% onsite in Huntsville, AL . The candidate must have an active Secret Clearance with the eligibility to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. The Red Team Mission Lead serves as the operational lead for cyber red team assessments, guiding mission planning, rules of engagement development, and on-site or remote execution of adversarial cyber operations. The Mission Lead is responsible for coordinating directly with government leads and stakeholders to define mission scope, manage assessment timelines, and ensure all operations are conducted within established boundaries. This role requires a seasoned cyber operations practitioner who can translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable deliverables for both technical and executive audiences. Duties Include- Lead mission planning and exercise development for red team cyber assessments, coordinating with internal teams and government leads to define objectives, scope, and timelines Develop, document, and enforce Rules of Engagement (RoE) for all assigned missions, ensuring operations remain within sanctioned boundaries throughout execution Lead and execute remote and on-site cyber assessments, including network penetration testing, adversary emulation, and full-spectrum offensive cyber operations Serve as the primary point of contact for government mission leads, providing regular status updates, technical briefings, and post-mission reporting Author and deliver comprehensive assessment reports, executive summaries, and after-action reviews tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Coordinate with team members to ensure tools, infrastructure, and tradecraft are prepared and appropriate for mission requirements prior to execution Monitor mission activities in real time to verify compliance with RoE, adjusting operations as necessary to prevent unintended impact or scope creep Conduct threat-informed adversary emulation using documented TTPs aligned to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK Support capability development efforts, including tool customization, script development, and tradecraft refinement to meet evolving mission needs Facilitate deconfliction with defensive teams and mission stakeholders during and after assessments Mentor junior operators and contribute to team training, knowledge sharing, and professional development Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience may be substituted for degree. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in offensive cyber operations, red teaming, or adversarial assessment roles SPECIALIZED experience in Red Teaming, Computer Network Attack (CNA), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), and/or penetration testing Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading red team missions from planning through reporting in DoD, federal, or comparable high-security environments Experience developing and enforcing Rules of Engagement and operational boundaries for adversarial assessments Proficiency with offensive toolsets including: Cobalt Strike, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound, and similar platforms Experience operating within and targeting Windows and Linux environments, including Active Directory exploitation, privilege escalation, and lateral movement techniques Proficiency with scripting and automation languages including PowerShell, Bash, and Python Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network protocols, and packet
