The Regional Sales Director – Interventional Glaucoma is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Interventional Glaucoma Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed regional revenue targets. This role requires a strategic, execution-focused leader who can drive adoption of Sight Sciences’ technologies within ophthalmology practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and hospital systems. Responsibilities Sales Execution & Performance Management Meet or exceed quarterly and annual regional revenue targets Translate national strategy into clear regional execution plans and priorities Drive disciplined use of CRM tools, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline management Monitor and analyze performance trends to identify risks and opportunities Leadership & Talent Development Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of sales representatives Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth, centered around Sight Sciences’ 5 behaviors Conduct regular field coaching to improve clinical acumen, sales effectiveness, and territory management Manage performance, including goal setting, ongoing feedback, coaching and development, and formal reviews Market Development Partner with physicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and administrators to expand adoption of interventional glaucoma procedures Identify and remove barriers to procedural growth, including workflow, reimbursement, and patient education challenges Support development of new accounts and expansion within existing accounts Lead regional initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of interventional glaucoma therapies Support regional and national industry meetings and physician education programs as needed Strategic Planning Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with corporate objectives Provide field insights to inform product strategy, messaging, and market development efforts Participate in national sales meetings, QBRs, and leadership planning sessions Cross‑Functional Collaboration Align with Sales Operations on territory design, targeting, and incentive effectiveness Partner with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns and programs Collaborate with Clinical/Medical Affairs to ensure appropriate clinical education and support Work with Market Access teams to navigate reimbursement and coverage challenges Partner cross‑functionally with the Interventional Dry Eye team to elevate the standards of interventional eye care Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred 7–10+ years of medical device or healthcare sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role Experience in ophthalmology, surgical devices, or procedural‑based selling strongly preferred Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and developing top‑performing teams Leadership & Execution Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high‑performing sales teams Strong field coaching skills with a focus on behavior change and skill development Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment Commercial & Clinical Acumen Deep understanding of complex sales cycles, including physician adoption and procedural selling Ability to engage credibly with surgeons, administrators, and clinical staff Strong business acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and data‑driven decision‑making Collaboration & Communication Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and lead without direct authority Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a resource‑constrained environment Travel Requirements Willingness to travel extensively within the region (50–75%) Valid driver’s license Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
