Job Summary:No Information Available at this time.Essential Responsibilities:Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedure, Principle of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws.Purchasing:Issue, procure and follow-up blanket, one shots, emergency orders with vendors, for inventory and non- inventory items used by the departments.Issue one shot POs for service/renewal/evaluations/repairs contracts that are less than $100,000.00.Upon verification and audit, approves E-procurement for non-catalogue items.Source items from vendors, check pricing, get quotes and bids.Based on usage, move items from one shot POs to multi POs.Shipping & Receiving:Receive all shipments for the RRL, using material handling equipment such as fork lift, pallet jack, carts, two-wheeled hand truck, etc.Sort and store materials/items on racks, shelves or bins according to type, product code, etc.Sort, date, stamp, rotate based upon date or lot, and store perishable inventory items in refrigerated rooms and/or refrigerators.Mark materials/items with identifying information, opens crates, packages and other containers, ensuring the correct item and quantity has been received.Prepare parcels for shipping, including packing supplies in cartons.Pack, crate and prepares bills of lading for outgoing shipments.Deliver department orders to the corresponding department.Departmental:Determine the quantities of stock needed to replenish departments supplies.Fill department inventory stock.Fill work orders, requests for materials or other stock items, re-stocking departments supply closets/rooms.Perform monthly or weekly inventory Cycle Counts Replenish inventory by doing re-order recommendations, rotate stock in Inventory, post receipts, follow up on inventory back orders and other receiving functions Perform monthly or weekly inventory Cycle Counts.Customer Service:Assists with incoming calls from vendors, end users and other Material Services personnel regarding delivery and receipt questions.Communicate with vendors, end users and/or accounts for equipment credit or repair Resolve and reconcile A/P problems relating to the ordering, receiving and distribution of materials.Daily follow up on open orders, AP payments and outstanding issues.Maintain inventory records.Use computer for research of vendors, usage, price, order entry, inventory entries.Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be ordered, moved, gathered or distributed to the departments.Request Vendor ID numbers, One Link numbers and other related issues.Work with end users to ensure correct ordering.Delivery/Transport Service:Drive vehicle to transport inventory items from main store room to secondary location.Drive vehicle and deliver histological slides and chemicals to other Medical centers.Distribute blood cultures to other facilities.Storeroom Functions:Store patient records and dispose of patient record boxes after the required storage time, checking that no test tube samples are inside the boxes.Retrieve and deliver storage boxes at the departments request.Pay Grade:05 Basic Qualifications:Experience N/A Education High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.License, Certification, Registration Drivers License (in location where applicable) Additional Requirements:Computer knowledge required.Demonstrated written/verbal communications and telephone skills.Ability to recognize maintenance problems with company vehicles and perform routine maintenance.Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to customers, contracted providers, and vendors.Demonstrated ability to follow written and oral directions.Demonstrated ability to file numerically and alphabetically.Clean driving record indicating no accidents within the past six (6) months and no moving violations.DMV printout required.Preferred Qualifications:One (1) year experience in Shipping and Receiving.Notes:This is an On-Call position, days and hours may vary.PrimaryLocation :California,Chino Hills,Chino Hills Regional Laboratory HoursPerWeek :1 Shift :Variable Workdays :Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri WorkingHoursStart :07:00 AM WorkingHoursEnd :03:30 PM Job Schedule :Call-in/On-Call Job Type :Standard Employee Status :Regular Employee Group/Union Affiliation :B01 SEIU Local 399 Job Level :Entry Level Job Category :Administrative & Support Services Department :CHINO HILLS REG LAB - MedFac-Materials Storeroom - 0806 Travel :Yes, 20 % of the Time Kaiser Permanente is an equal opportunity employer committed to fair, respectful, and inclusive workplaces.Applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic or status.For jobs where work will be performed in unincorporated LA County, the employer provides the followin
