Job Title: Regional Operations Manager (Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection) Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000+ Benefits: 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision insurance coverage Paid time off + paid holidays Wellness & Employee Assistance Programs Leadership development & continuing education opportunities Company Overview: Tiello has partnered with a well-established AISC Certified Structural Steel Fabricator/Erector on their search for a Regional Operations Manager to oversee project execution and field operations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This organization supports a diverse portfolio of structural steel projects across commercial, industrial, and specialty construction markets and has built a strong reputation for safety, quality, and customer service. With an established fabrication operation and experienced field teams already in place, this role is focused on operational leadership, divisional growth, customer relationships, and successful project execution. Role Summary: The Regional Operations Manager will oversee all project management, operational, and field execution activities within the DFW division. This individual will be responsible for driving operational performance, supporting business development efforts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of fabrication and erection projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience within the structural steel fabrication and erection industry, along with a strong understanding of project execution, field operations, scheduling, client management, and divisional leadership. This individual will work closely with estimating, project management, shop leadership, and field operations teams to support both divisional and company-wide goals. Project Type: Commercial Structural Steel, Industrial Facilities, Manufacturing, Non-Building Structures, Specialty Steel Projects, etc. Job Responsibilities: Provide leadership and oversight for all project and field operations within the division Collaborate with estimating and business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunities Maintain and strengthen long-term client relationships through successful project execution and customer service Oversee project execution including detailing, fabrication coordination, scheduling, erection coordination, and project closeout Support project management teams with operational guidance, problem-solving, and resource allocation Ensure fabrication shops and field erection teams have appropriate manpower, equipment, and operational support Monitor divisional performance including project profitability, operational efficiency, and schedule performance Develop and implement action plans to improve operational execution and overall divisional performance Lead hiring, mentoring, training, and professional development initiatives for project management and field leadership teams Support change management efforts and operational process improvements Collaborate with executive leadership regarding strategic planning, staffing, and operational initiatives Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, policies, and quality requirements Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and operational planning discussions Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered 15+ years of experience within the structural steel fabrication/erection industry 10+ years of leadership or operational management experience Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection sequencing, project execution, and operational workflows Experience managing commercial steel construction operations and project teams Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous projects and operational teams Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, scheduling, and P&L management Ability to mentor and develop project management and field leadership personnel Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to travel as needed throughout the r
