Job Summary Responsible for overseeing sales operations within their region, driving strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets, and fostering customer relationships. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities - Driving regional sales strategy in collaboration with Vice President of Sales, District Sales Managers (DSMs), and General Managers (GMs) ensuring alignment and overall business goals. - Recruits, trains, and develops sales teams, focusing on sales techniques, market dynamics, and pipeline building programs. - Champions human resources processes within sales, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of field sales associates. - Facilitates frequent sales calls and coaching sessions to identify growth opportunities and remove barriers to success. - Develops and executes regional sales strategies and initiatives, leveraging data analytics and KPIs to assess performance and drive growth. - Holds sales teams accountable achieving sales targets and adopting business initiatives through regular performance reviews. - Partners with operations to enhance customer service, resolve disputes and support will call and counter sales growth. - Manages customer and supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and product availability, and developing strategic accounts.
