This is a strategic executive leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare contracting professional ready to drive provider network growth and value-based partnerships across a major Medicare-focused region. In this role, you will lead large-scale provider contracting initiatives across multiple states, overseeing negotiations, reimbursement strategies, and provider engagement efforts that directly impact healthcare accessibility and financial performance. You will collaborate with senior leaders across sales, finance, medical management, and operations to develop innovative, mutually beneficial solutions for providers and members alike. The position offers high visibility, significant leadership influence, and the chance to shape contracting strategies in a complex and evolving healthcare environment. This remote role is ideal for a collaborative, results-oriented leader with deep expertise in managed care and provider relationships. \n Accountabilities: Lead the provider contracting strategy and execution for Medicare-focused healthcare networks across the South Central region, including physicians, hospitals, post-acute care facilities, and delegated specialty services. Oversee end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with business goals, financial objectives, and provider engagement strategies. Develop and implement value-based reimbursement models and risk-sharing arrangements that support quality care and cost efficiency. Build and maintain strong relationships with provider organizations, healthcare systems, and executive stakeholders to strengthen network performance and satisfaction. Partner cross-functionally with finance, sales, legal, medical management, and health services teams to drive integrated contracting solutions. Identify healthcare cost drivers and implement innovative contract structures and cost-control initiatives. Lead provider recruitment and network alignment efforts to support growth objectives and market expansion strategies. Mentor, develop, and lead high-performing contracting teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements 5+ years of leadership experience within the healthcare industry. Proven expertise leading provider contracting negotiations across Medicare, Medicaid, and employer group segments. Strong understanding of provider reimbursement structures, value-based care models, risk arrangements, and healthcare finance. Experience managing relationships with hospitals, physicians, post-acute care providers, and specialty service organizations. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex matrixed organizations and partner effectively across executive-level functions. Strong leadership and talent development experience with a track record of building high-performing teams. Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with strong executive presence. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or J.D. preferred. Ability to travel approximately 35% within the assigned region. Benefits Competitive salary range of $203,400 to $279,800 annually. Eligibility for performance-based bonus incentives.
