Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and become a vital part of transforming lives through evidence-based behavioral therapy. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement personalized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and responses accurately and consistently Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Support clients in developing communication, social, and self-care skills through engaging teaching strategies Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive information Participate in team meetings to review progress, update care plans, and discuss behavioral management strategies Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages client engagement and growth Requirements Valid Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or eligibility to obtain certification Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and other behavioral health needs in a compassionate manner Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various hours as needed Join us in making a difference!
