Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.You will work closely with clients to implement behavior intervention plans and assist in their daily activities, promoting positive behavioral changes through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Duties Educate clients and their families about behavior management strategies and care plans. Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions. Provide direct patient care while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support clients in developing social skills and independence in daily living activities. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience or knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills for educating clients and families. Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience.
