As an RBT, you’ll work directly with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities, guided by experienced BCBAs who value collaboration, clear expectations, and high‑quality care. What You’ll Do Every Day Deliver one‑on‑one ABA‑based intervention using individualized behavior‑support plans Collect accurate, detailed data to track progress and guide treatment decisions Support clients with daily living skills such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential routines Assist with structured teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, functional skills, and behavior reduction Partner with BCBAs and teammates to review progress and adjust programming Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards with consistency Complete session documentation using clear, professional medical terminology Create a patient, encouraging environment where clients can learn, practice, and grow What Makes You a Strong Fit Experience supporting children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred) Familiarity with ABA strategies, behavior‑support techniques, or special‑education practices Comfort assisting with ADLs or working in behavioral‑health or educational settings Strong attention to detail when collecting and interpreting behavioral data Understanding of behavioral‑health terminology Active RBT certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire for those who have completed the 40 hour training.
