Job Description
We are immediately seeking an experienced and exceptional RDA to provide assistance to our dentist[s] and new patients. Are you looking for a meaningful, and long-term career opportunity? The candidate should be well-organized, able to anticipate and fully support our dentists chair-side with great attention to detail and follow-through. Must consistently complete patient notes for every patient, anticipate dentists needs, knowledgeable of dental services and products, and able to serve with professionalism. What we expect from you - we are looking for a dependable, passionate professional with great attention to detail. A positive attitude is a must as you serve patients and your team with excellence. Experience with Itero-Invisalign, Cerec, and ZOOM! teeth whitening is a plus, and we expect our RDAs to be competent, efficient, & self-correcting in taking a full fmx set of digital images [PAs and bitewings], all types of impressions, and digital photography. We expect our RDAs to complete their responsibilities daily; confirm lab cases have gone out and been received appropriately, detailed and complete clinical notes for each patient, proficient with temporaries, and all RDA duties. Responsibilities: Warmly welcome customers to our dental office Escort patients to and from treatment, and offer office tours on occasion while always ensuring optimal patient comfort Proactively select and set up instruments and equipment for each provider Sterilize instruments according to regulations when necessary Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Input detailed and complete clinical notes in Dentrix after each patient Undertake lab tasks as instructed, and manage patient cases as directed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients Keep the dental ops/rooms clean and well-stocked with supplies Possibly facilitate Sleep Apnea studies, learn and grow in airway focused dentistry, and appliance treatment Possibly manage the Digital Smile Design program with photography and 3-D printing for smile makeovers Coordinate alignment driven treatment that changes patients' lives and smiles Skills Proven experience as a registered dental assistant required Knowledge of dental instruments and best steril
