Job Description
On site - Crescent City, CA We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team. This role supports our dentists and hygienists in providing excellent clinical care while helping maintain a welcoming, efficient, and professional dental environment. Required Qualifications ● High school diploma or equivalent ● Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license ● Current X-Ray certification (California) ● Current BLS/CPR certification (or must be obtained upon hire) ● Knowledge of standard dental procedures, infection control, and OSHA requirements ● Strong communication and patient-service skills ● Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude ● Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced clinical setting. ● Experience working in a dental office or community healthcare setting ● Coronal polishing certification ● Sealant certification Core Responsibilities ● Prepare operatory rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain proper infection-control protocols ● Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort ● Take dental radiographs in accordance with California regulations ● Document patient information, treatment notes, and procedures accurately ● Provide patient education, pre- and post-procedure instructions ● Support front office team as needed: scheduling, patient flow, and maintaining a smooth daily operation ● Uphold high standards of professionalism and hospitality in every patient interaction.
