Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated, positive, high energetic registered dental hygienist to add to our family full or part time! The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other team members to deliver exceptional patient experiences in a clinical setting. Contact our office at 810-720-0611 today! Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate techniques and equipment. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed to promote oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during treatments. Utilize medical imaging systems effectively for diagnostic purposes. Provide support in pediatric dentistry by addressing the unique needs of younger patients. Keep accurate records of patient treatments and progress within the dental clinic. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental systems. Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and familiarity with medical imaging technologies. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate care. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of their specific needs.
