Registered Dental Hygienist

Key Responsibilities Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for dental examinations Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to safety standards Perform initial oral screenings and review patient dental histories Identify oral health conditions such as gingivitis, dental caries, and periodontal disease Perform dental cleanings, including plaque removal and fluoride application Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed Assist dentists in evaluating and selecting appropriate treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Monitor and manage clinical supplies Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license (state-specific requirement) Diploma or degree from an accredited dental hygiene program Current CPR certification Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Additional Information New graduates are encouraged to apply Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Flexible scheduling options Benefits may include retirement plans, health insurance, and paid time off Work setting: In-person
