Nutrition Management Services This position is responsible for providing nutrition management services in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The position will work as part of a care team at UNLV Health, including working with faculty, residents, and students. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field required Completion of dietetic internship and trainee program or equivalent required Certified Nutritionist Specialist Certification preferred Responsibilities Conducts assessments, plans and implements diet recommendations to children with special health care needs Selects the appropriate feeding modality for the patient and accurately calculates nutritional needs. Changes to the nutrition plan of care are made according to findings in a timely fashion Provides Nutrition consultation in the assigned interdisciplinary specialty clinics Assumes a proactive role with patient/family education and patient/family satisfaction in the practice setting Assumes personal accountability to enhance the patient experience by using high quality, patient satisfaction-directed interactions/tools/activitie
