Actalent is hiring for a Registered Nurse in GYN! Complete and track prior authorizations for medications and related treatments, ensuring timely submission and follow-up. Order medications, including IUDs, and maintain accurate logs of orders, inventory, and usage. Monitor and resolve daily prescription issues for a high-volume practice that sees more than 300 patients per day. Communicate directly with patients by phone to provide updates on prescription status, clarify issues, and facilitate resolution. Provide hands-on clinical assistance to physicians 2–3 times per day as needed, while maintaining a primarily computer-based workflow. Review lab results and other clinical information and communicate findings or next steps to patients via email or other approved channels. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to address medication-related problems and ensure safe, effective patient care. Perform medication reconciliation and related medication management tasks in alignment with clinical protocols. Document all patient interactions, prescription activities, and prior authorization outcomes accurately in the electronic systems. Contribute to a positive patient experience by maintaining a friendly, proactive, and professional approach in all communications. Schedule: Monday-Friday (8 hour shift between 7am-7pm) , rotating Saturday (9am-5pm). Qualifications Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience. GYN or OB/GYN nursing experience.
