Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR ### LOCALS APPROVED AT TRAVEL RATE REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Accepted at same rate for this need. *Work Setting Skills REQUIRED: Home Health/Hospice and Skilled Nursing *End Of Life Care Skills REQUIRED: After treatment (survivorship) & Cultural awareness *Medication administration/ Pain management Skills REQUIRED: (WHO) Analgesic Ladder, Adjuvant therapy, Breakthrough dosing, Calculation of Pediatric Dosages, Medication tolerance, Pain assessment, Pharmacologic/non-pharmacological pain interventions, Proper disposal of medications, Types of pain (somatic, visceral, neuropathic) and treatment & Utilization of pain scales (verbal, nonverbal) *Professional Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED: Goal setting with patient/family, Intake assessment/interview, Medicare state regulations, Patient/Family education and support & Positioning/preventive shearing and pressure ulcers *Symptom Assessment/Management Skills REQUIRED: Altered mental status, Anorexia and Cachexia, Aphasia, Constipation/diarrhea, Nausea/vomiting & Pressure ulcer staging *Certs: BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: -End of Life Care Skills: Death pronouncement, Death/dying counseling, Identify Spiritual needs, Perideath care of family & Postmortem Care -Ethical and Legal Issues Skills: Advanced directives, Medical futility, Medical abandonment, Organ donation, Palliative sedation & Withholding/withdrawing treatment -Medication administration/ Pain management Skills: Equianalgesic dosing of opioids & PCA pump management -Phlebotomy/IV Ma
