This is a seasonal position at Camp Wallace within the Information and Education Division.The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing services to patients in state facilities and maysupervise Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurse Applicants/Registered Nurse Applicants orunlicensed assistive staff in the implementation of nursing policies and procedures. This is an Interim position. An Interim position means a position established to address a one-time orrecurring need of less than nine (9) months duration and exempt from the classified service under KRS 18A.115. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintains licensure for the length of employment to perform medical treatment and administer medications, as prescribed, to Camp Webb campers and staff. Intervenes when emergency care is required. Promotes health maintenance and prevention of illness for campers and staff at Conservation Camp Webb.
