OverviewJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings.In this role, you will utilize your extensive nursing expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Your energetic approach will ensure patients receive compassionate, efficient, and high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Whether working in acute care, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and well-being for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to identify health needs and develop personalized care plans.Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following strict aseptic techniques and medical protocols.Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document patient information accurately and efficiently.Manage airway support with ventilators, perform tube feeding procedures, and conduct laboratory tests including specimen collection and processing.Provide specialized care in areas such as cardiology (including catheterization), ophthalmology (including laser treatments), dialysis, hospice & palliative medicine, or behavioral health as needed.Assist with complex procedures like suturing, spinal taps, gastric lavage, or ostomy care while maintaining infection control standards.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in emergency medicine settings, trauma centers (Level I & II), ICU, PICU, or neonatal units to deliver critical care.Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as geriatrics, memory care, family planning, or nutrition to promote long-term wellness.Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation for legal and quality assurance purposes.Experience Proven nursing experience in acute care environments such as hospital medicine or emergency rooms; trauma centers; ICU or PICU experience preferred.Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator care), geriatrics (memory & dementia care), individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.Critical care experience involving ventilator management, acute pain management, infectious disease care, or occupational health is highly desirable.Familiarity with specialized procedures like catheterization (cardiac or urinary), phlebotomy, CPT coding for billing purposes, and ICD coding for diagnoses.Prior work in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is advantageous.Knowledge of infection control practices and experience adhering to NCQA standards for quality healthcare delivery.Join us to make a meaningful difference through compassionate nursing practice!
