Primary Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Location: Hobbs, NM Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 8 weeks Pay Rate: $60.00 / Hour (USD) Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary: This is a travel contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at a 61-bed Short Term Acute Care facility. The role will cover ortho, general, GYN, podiatry, C-section, and endoscopy cases. On-call is required 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month. The facility maintains a 1:1 patient ratio in the OR and has a professional scrub color requirement of navy for all RNs. Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room across multiple surgical specialties Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during surgical procedures Support ortho, general, GYN, podiatry, C-section, and endoscopy cases Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled (1-2 days per week, 1-2 weekends per month) Education Requirements: RN License required Operating Room (OT) License required Operating Room Assistant (OTA) License required Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Scrub color: Navy for all RNs Free parking available in unrestricted spaces 1:1 patient ratio in the OR Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund Short Term Acute Care facility with 61 staff beds.
