Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Registered Nurse (RN) located in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one pediatric care in a home setting, supporting children transitioning from hospital to home care. Primary responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering treatments and medications, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress. The Registered Nurse will also educate patients and their families, collaborate with healthcare providers, and maintain accurate medical records. This role plays a key part in supporting services aligned with the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for pediatric patients. Qualifications Required: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia Pediatric experience (required) - experience working with infants, children, or adolescents Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong clinical skills including patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning Ability to work independently in a home care environment Preferred Experience in pediatric home care or hospital pediatric units Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Experience with medically complex pediatric patients (e.g., chronic conditions, post-acute care) Key Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to educate and support families and caregivers
