Job Summary:The registered nurse will demonstrate loving, kind and compassionate leadership skills along with autonomy and sound judgment regarding medical intervention.They will provide skilled nursing care including assessments, medication administration, and any other interventions as listed in the clients' plan of care.The RN may also be responsible for new client intake, initiating and updating plans of care, case management, and educating families as appropriate.Core Values & Philosophy Love - I give love freely, often and without conditions.Play - I promote a healthy balance that enriches people of all ages and abilities through play.Respect - I seek to treat others as I expect to be treated Integrity - I act openly and truthfully so that everything I do works Connection - I build strong relationships through trust and collaboration Excellence - I persist in creating better ways of doing the things that matter most to me.Facility Hours:Facility operating hours are Monday through Saturday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (except 24 hours/day during respites).Closed on all major holidays.Reports To:Nurse Administrator Qualifications/Requirements:Current California Registered Nurse license.2-3 Personal/Professional References.Clear criminal background check.A health examination within 90 days prior to employment or within 7 days of hire, to include a medical history and physical evaluation.Negative TB Test.Current BLS/First Aid Certification.Successful completion of the Solaria Care RN Competency Evaluation (will be completed in your first 90 days).1-year direct pediatric client care experience preferred.Ability to lift, carry, bend, walk and reach as needed to perform client care and/or transfer of clients up to 50 lbs.Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, clients, parents, physicians and the general public.Detailed Tasks:Supervise and provide direct care services to both pediatric and adult clients with special health care needs including nursing assessments, medications, tube feedings, oxygen administration.Complete initial assessments and collaborate with the family and primary care physician to create a plan of care specific to each client's needs.Turn, position, and support clients in a wheelchair, bed or other positions.Assist with transfers and ambulation.Feed or assist the client with feedings and/or prepare basic meals.Keep the client care area clean and free of hazards.Assist clients in the participation of independent and group activities.Must work well in a small team environment and maintain professionalism.Strong leadership skills.Will be responsible for team leadership while in the facility.Any tasks and responsibilities to maintain facility operations as deemed necessary for facility operations.May be required to work two Saturdays a month.May be required to work overnight on Thursday or Friday nights twice a month.Must be available within 30 minutes during on-call hours.Compensation/Benefits:Hourly - $45-56 per hour, depending on experience.Paid Training - we take training seriously and will work to set you up for success.Paid Sick Leave - 40 hours per year.Paid Time Off - increasing with seniority up to 5 weeks per year.Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD (Long-term Disability), Life Insurance, and voluntary supplemental insurances including accident, short-term disability, cancer, and pet insurance.Company-paid benefits at 90% for Medical/Dental/Vision and 100% for LTD and Life Insurance.401k Matching up to 4%.Employee Assistance Program.Pay:$45.00 - $56.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance License/Certification:BLS Certification (Required) Ability to Commute:Redding, CA 96002 (Required) Work Location:In person.
