Registered Nurse - Pre-Admission Clinic & Triage Travel Contract ($1,600/week) $40/hr C2C / 1099 Watkinsville, GA) Watkinsville, GA (Athens Area) 13-Week Contract 40 hrs Guaranteed/week Day Shift Start:April 6, 2026 'No Weekends No On-Call Office Only' Facility:1272 Virgil Langford Rd, Watkinsville, GA 30606 Shift:8-Hour Days Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 4:15 PM No On-Call Contract Length:13 Weeks April 6, 2026 - July 4, 2026 Setting Outpatient Orthopedics -- Office-Based RN (PAC & Triage) Benefits :No benefits package -- C2C / 1099 independent contractor rate 1.Mandatory Requirements to Apply Licensure & Certification Active, unrestricted RN license -- Georgia license required (or compact/endorsement eligibility prior to April 6, 2026 start) AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification -- current and valid, required at time of start Experience Minimum 2 years of RN experience specifically within outpatient orthopedics, total joint, surgical, or pre-admission/pre-op specialty Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC) experience -- patient screening, pre-op assessment, surgical clearance coordination Triage call experience -- ability to assess, prioritize, and document patient calls in an outpatient clinical setting Candidate Eligibility Non-local candidates only -- applicants must reside more than 50 miles from Watkinsville, GA 30606 to qualify for this travel contract Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor (C2C or 1099) Authorized to work in the United States 2.Roles & Responsibilities Manage the Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC) independently -- conduct pre-operative assessments, review medical histories, coordinate surgical clearances, and ensure patients are fully prepared for upcoming total joint procedures Handle all inbound triage calls -- assess patient-reported symptoms, apply clinical judgment to prioritize and document calls, provide guidance within scope, and escalate urgent concerns to the appropriate provider Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and clinical staff at Total Joint Specialists Athens to maintain seamless pre-surgical workflows and support a high-volume outpatient joint replacement practice Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation -- complete PAC assessments, triage call records, and patient communications in the EHR per facility and compliance standards Serve as a clinical resource for pre-surgical patient education -- explain pre-op instructions, medication protocols, and procedural expectations to patients and caregivers in a clear, patient-centered manner 3.Bonus & Benefits Salary Compensation $40.00/hr -- C2C or 1099 (Independent Contractor) Weekly pay -- $1,600/week (40 hours guaranteed, paid weekly) Overtime paid after 24 hrs/day and after 40 hrs/week (multiplier-based, approval required) Schedule & Lifestyle Predictable day shift only -- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:15 PM No evenings, no weekends, no on-call Office-based role only -- no hospital floors, no float, no bedside 13-week engagement -- stable, structured contract ideal for experienced travel RNs Clinical Environment & Growth Specialized orthopedic outpatient setting.Autonomous, clinic-based nursing role -- ideal for RNs who prefer independent, workflow-driven environments over floor nursing Strong resume builder -- PAC management triage in a total joint specialty setting is highly sought-after experience We are an equal opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.#Geval-IT Pay:$40.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours:40.0 per week Experience:Medical terminology:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
