Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) assignment in Sioux Falls, SD.In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a rehabilitation and long-term care setting while supporting patient comfort, safety, and recovery.This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering patient-centered care during night shifts.Position Details Position:RN - Long-Term Care (LTC) Location:Sioux Falls, SD Facility:Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls Pay Rate:$54.61/hr Contract Duration:13 Weeks Shift:12 Hour Nights Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and rehabilitation patients.Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes in condition.Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Monitor patients for signs of infection, complications, or changes in health status.Assist with wound care, mobility support, and activities of daily living as needed.Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs.Follow infection control procedures and ensure HIPAA compliance at all times.Requirements Active RN License in good standing Minimum 1-2 years of LTC, rehab, Med-Surg, or skilled nursing experience preferred BLS Certification required Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced patient care environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience with EMR systems preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience is a plus Experience working night shifts in LTC or rehabilitation settings Strong patient-centered care and time management skills Pay:$55.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
