Job Description
A Staff RN works under the supervision of the Med-Surg Nurse Manager and is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care on a nursing unit in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and supervising individualized patient care, as well as directing co-workers in executing the patient's care plan.Key Responsibilities:Performs full nursing process:patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and documentation.Evaluates patient outcomes and revises care plans as needed.Delegates and oversees aspects of patient care assigned to unit staff.Provides care for general medical-surgical patients, including oncology, observation, hospice, medical, and surgical populations.Performs additional duties as assigned.Experience & Qualifications Required:At least 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience (required).Med-Surg observation experience (required).Recent travel nursing experience (strongly preferred).Active RN license and BLS certification required.Must maintain active, verifiable licensure.Documentation & Compliance Requirements:Updated work history and Med-Surg skills checklist (within 1 year).Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years.Active license verification through appropriate state/national systems.Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Additional Notes:Must adhere strictly to scheduling requirements submitted at time of application.Local candidates may be considered depending on contract restrictions.The rate is all inclusive but Mileage reimbursement is offered.Pay:$49.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
