Job Description
Job Title:Registered Nurse (RN) Job Summary:Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, the original Salter Healthcare location, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team.As a Registered Nurse at Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, resident-centered care to our patients.If you want to be part of a nursing team that feels like a family and a job that feels like home, we encourage you to apply today! Responsibilities:Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff on the assigned unit to ensure high-quality care Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, colostomy changes, tube feedings, suctioning, IV administration, and other skilled interventions Observe, document, and report changes in resident status to physicians, families, and leadership Transcribe and carry out physician orders accurately Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are being met, and staff are following facility policies Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care Maintain an adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment and notify appropriate personnel when needed Promote teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication within the team Participate in survey processes, inspections, and QAPI activities Treat all residents with dignity and respect, ensuring their rights and confidentiality are maintained Follow infection control policies, safety procedures, and life safety/emergency protocols Report any abuse, neglect, exposure incidents, or noncompliance according to policy Complete all assigned training and skills competency requirements Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications:Current, unencumbered State of Massachusetts RN license Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff Critical thinking skills to assess situations and provide appropriate care Ability to handle different situations with professionalism and tact Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not required Competitive Compensation and Benefits:Paid Holidays Complimentary Employee Meals Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Long & Short-term Disability Insurance Accrued paid time off - Full-Time Employees 401K Retirement Plan How to Apply:If you are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!
