Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus* Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Critical Care Transport Team at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity. We are looking to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This full-time position will care for critical pediatric patients requiring transport to and from Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in high-stress, fast-paced environments and have experience in critical care, transport, and both PICU and NICU settings. Registered Respiratory Therapist, Job Responsibilities Perform basic life support (BLS), advanced life support (ALS), and critical care support. Understand and carry out orders from physicians or the Medical Director. Perform patient assessments, provide treatment, and monitor patients during inter-facility transport. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Provide appropriate patient care, including emergency procedures such as CPR, endotracheal intubation, needle chest aspiration, and umbilical access for emergency medication delivery. Support hospital critical care units when not participating in transport duties.
