📣 We're Hiring | Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) — Mobile Wellness PawChex™ | Greater Los Angeles, CA | Part-Time / Flexible Are you an RVT who loves animals, values autonomy, and wants to do something genuinely different with your license? PawChex is a mobile pet wellness screening company bringing veterinary-grade diagnostics directly to pet owners' homes across greater Los Angeles. We're looking for California-licensed RVTs to join our growing team as in-home specimen collectors — performing blood draws and specimen collection for dogs and cats, with all diagnostics processed through IDEXX Reference Laboratories. This is a field-based, flexible role — ideal for RVTs looking to supplement their income, transition out of clinic life, or be part of something they believe in from the ground up. —— 🐾 What You'll Do Perform in-home venipuncture and specimen collection for canine and feline wellness panels Handle, label, and prepare samples for IDEXX Reference Laboratory submission Provide a calm, professional, low-stress experience for pets and their owners Document visits and communicate results-ready status through our practice management system Work within written protocols under the direct supervision of our licensed California DVM —— ✅ Requirements Active California RVT license in good standing Proficiency in small animal venipuncture (canine and feline) Reliable personal vehicle and valid California driver's license Comfortable working independently in a home setting Strong client communication skills Willingness to follow written protocols as required under California BPC and CCR —— 💚 What We Offer Flexible scheduling — you set your availability Competitive per-visit compensation Mileage reimbursement A mission-driven team built around early detection and pet longevity The chance to be a founding team member of a first-of-its-kind service in LA —— All specimen collection is performed pursuant to written protocols under the supervision of a California-licensed DVM, in compliance with California Business and Professions Code §§ 4836–4853 and California Code of Regulations § 2035.
