Company Summary:Waxxy Poodle is an audiophile quality, vinyl record manufacturer located in southern Wisconsin.Founded by 30year veterans of vinyl record manufacturing, lacquer mastering and world class quality control.Time Line:Open now.Description:Operating our grinder/shredder.Breaking down trim plastic for recycling and regrind.Workspace cleaning.Some assembly and shipping help in other departments as needed.No experience necessary.Looking to fill 2nd shifts, M-F, until 9 or 10p.And weekend 1st and 2nd Shifts, as early as 7am until 9 or 10pm.Age requirement:18 years old Personality and Interest Profile - You may enjoy this role if you:Enjoy organizing your own tasks and working on your own Understand the needs of the audiophile customers and how a quality part is defined by them Accountable for:Breaking down plastic trim, operating plastic grinder, organizing by color.Cleaning, filtering and insuring that the output of our process is a quality part and within acceptable standards Perform duties of packaging and shipping when required Complete production notes as needed Qualifications:High school education or equivalent Previous manufacturing experience a plus Attention to detail Desire for continual learning and personal development Mechanical aptitude Physical Demands:Practice and comply with all occupational safety standards Ability to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment including long sleeves as required Frequent lifting up to roughly 55-100 lb bins, boxes, containers Frequent repetitious tasks with scoops and heavy tools Waxxy Poodle is an Equal Opportunity Employer.We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, as we know that each of our employees helps to make us better.We strongly encourage applicants from all backgrounds and walks of life.Come join us.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Education:High school or equivalent (Required) Shift availability:Day Shift (Required) Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute:Cross Plains, WI 53528 (Required) Work Location:In person.
