Employment Defense Attorney (Remote – California) Base Salary: $170,000 - $300,000(2+ yrs of experience) About the Role The position focuses on defending employers in a wide range of employment disputes, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and PAGA matters. The role offers substantive litigation responsibility and consistent client interaction. Responsibilities Manage employment defense cases from intake through resolution Draft and argue motions, including demurrers and summary judgment Conduct and defend depositions Handle written discovery and case strategy Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and court appearances Advise employers on compliance and risk mitigation Qualifications Active California Bar license 2+ years of employment defense experience Strong motion practice and discovery skills Experience handling wage & hour and discrimination matters Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload in a remote setting Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $300,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
