Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independe Social Worker LISW professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide expert mental health services through telehealth platform Simple Practice, delivering psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management to diverse client populations. We also have two in person offices in Poland Ohio and Salem Ohio Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to individual client requirements. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support clients experiencing urgent mental health issues or trauma, including PTSD care and grief counseling. Provide specialized counseling for child & family dynamics, working with children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and in pediatric or outpatient settings. Maintain detailed medical documentation, medical records, and HIPAA-compliant notes while ensuring accuracy in medical terminology and ICD coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and support staff. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver patient care remotely while adhering to all privacy regulations and best practices in behavioral health. Experience Valid licensure as an LPCC or LMFT with experience in clinical counseling, mental health therapy, or behavioral health services. Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, or those with chronic pain or trauma histories. Familiarity with crisis management protocols, addiction counseling techniques, and PTSD care strategies. Hands-on experience with medical documentation systems, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards. Prior telehealth experience is highly preferred; ability to navigate virtual platforms confidently for patient engagement. Knowledge of behavioral therapy approaches such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, psychopharmacology basics, and special education considerations is advantageous.
