Job Description
What You'll Do Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in personal health navigation. As a Personal Health Expert, you'll build long-horizon health-admin tasks that mirror the work you already do, each paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Tasks need to have checkable answers; no open-ended essays, no subjective judgment calls. Expect to build scenarios across: Records and visits: medical timelines against a ground-truth event list, pre-appointment briefs with required elements Medications and labs: medication schedules against a rules-based conflict check, lab summaries that correctly flag values against reference ranges Payer and documentation: insurance appeals against known approve / deny outcomes, symptom logs with structured fields These scenarios will be challenging and take long sessions of focus. Qualifications 3+ years as an RN, patient advocate, MA, or in a similar health-literate role Expertise in one or more of the following: insurance appeals and payer navigation, lab result interpretation, medication management, patient portal workflows (MyChart, FollowMyHealth), care coordination Comfortable reading and producing personal health artifacts: timelines, pre-visit briefs, appeal letters, symptom logs Clear written communication; can articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics Located in the United States Compensation $60–$85 / hr depending on domain depth and prior experience. Strong contributors are promoted based on task quality and throughput.
