Short Description: IN-IDOI-Renewal Coordinator Complete Description: IN-IDOI-Renewal Coordinator About the Job: This position serves as the Licensing Renewal Coordinator of the Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOi). The Licensing Renewal Coordinator is charged with the responsibility of maintaining state compliance with the laws, rules, policies, and procedures of renewal and reinstatement licensing of resident and non-resident insurance producers (agents/brokers) and consultants, and resident and non-resident Insurance agencies. The position accepts and reviews license renewal and reinstatement applications, including any civil, criminal, or administrative background documents, and makes determinations as to a candidate's eligibility for renewal of a license as governed through the laws, rules, and policies of the state. The position works with the IDOi Enforcement Division, Vertafore/Sircon, NIPR, FINRA, and other state departments of Insurance in verifying possible disqualifications on an individual or firm's record. The position also utilizes MyCase.in.gov, NIPR Attachments Warehouse, I-Site, Sircon for States, e-PAL, INBlz, FINRA BrokerCheck, and other databases when reviewing renewal applications. The position processes license reinstatement waiver forms needed for producers to take the IDOi Laws & Regulations exam as a part of reinstating an expired license within one year of the license expiring.
