ECCO Equipment Company ECCO Equipment Company is retail rental company.We pride ourselves on being a full-service rental and sales company.Our team of expert employees come from the rental and construction industries and therefore know our customers.We use the latest technology and work to ensure equipment is delivered on time, when, and wherever it is needed.BENEFITS ECCO offers day one, competitive and comprehensive benefits package:100% covered health insurance 100% covered dental and vision insurance 100% covered short-term and long-term disability $100,000 covered life insurance 401(k) and company match Paid time off Sick time off 11 company paid holidays POSITION This Rental Coordinator will work directly with customers via telephone and e-mail to provide equipment information and availability, process rental contracts and arrange transportation.Essential DUTIES Follow established processes and procedures in day-to-day job functionality.Provide sales support for outside sales team and collaborate to establish new business within the markets.Assist in managing customer relationships.Facilitate rental process from start to finish.Manage contracts including creating, obtaining signatures, and billing.Understand and facilitate the transportation of equipment.Track and monitor utilization and location of equipment.Follow up and communicate with the sales team on equipment availability.Work with the service department to coordinate repairs for equipment when required.Create, maintain, and receive purchase orders.Manage payable invoice system for rental department related expenses; input required information/research/update/correct any discrepancies.Review purchase order reports weekly to maintain prompt processing.Any and all other duties assigned.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.COMPETENCIES Customer Service - Manage difficult or emotional customer situations Respond promptly to external and internal customers Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Gather and analyze information skillfully Meet commitments.Written and Oral Communication - Write clearly and informatively Able to read and interpret written information.Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations Listen and get clarification Respond well to questions.Teamwork - Balance team and individual responsibilities Give and welcome feedback Contribute to building a positive team spirit.Adaptability - Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Ethics - Treat people with respect Work with integrity.Organizational Support - Follow policies and procedures Complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.Judgement - Exhibit sound and accurate judgment Include appropriate people in decision-making process Make timely decisions.SAFETY All employees must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Comply with federal, state, and local laws, as well as Company safety policy, enforce safe work practices, and proactively identifies and remedies worksite hazards.DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT This position demands occupation in an office environment that regularly uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 15 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc.Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.EXPECTED POSITION HOURS This is a full-time position.Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand with prior approval.Minimum Requirements Education and Work Experience A high school diploma or GED is required.Two (2) years of experience in heavy dirt industry and transportation preferred; or a mix of education and on-the-job training may be a substitute for years of experience.RentalMan experience preferred.Rental experience preferred.Required Skills and Abilities Conscientious, diligent, and detail-oriented with ability to stay organized.Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to quickly react to changes.Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision Team player with excellent people
